I love the beautiful and unique architecture of Olde Naples. While riding my bicycle through the neighborhoods I always find myself stopping and admiring the coziness of the scene, I started with painting one cottage and quickly realized how much I enjoy painting this type of subject. Before I knew it, I had completed 12 watercolours and am still going. I never get bored painting them and try to capture the detail of the structures and vegetation.
The Cottages hold such a sense of history to this area and I'm very sorry to say that they are slowy disappearing and making way for the new. I have spent a lot of time in Olde Naples and love living in this area. Naples is so picturesque...
I can't help but be inspired everyday.
